She was predeceased by: her parents, Clarence E. Smith and Rachel B. Minard Smith; and her husband Carl R. Teachout. She is survived by: her children, Mark Teachout of Dover and Dawn; and her siblings, Deborah Gnandt (Steve) of Kings Mountain and Paul Smith (Sherill) of Farwell, Michigan. She is also survived by her several nieces and nephews, and great-nieces and great-nephews.
