He was predeceased by: his parents, Roger Hesse and Ruth Hesse (Lynch); and his daughter April Hesse-Snider. He is survived by: his wife Brenda Hesse (Hargis); his children, Andrea Robinson and Karl Hesse, Jr.; his grandchildren, Wesley, Rachael, Zachary, David, Jr., Abigail, Anthony and Jonah; his sisters, Barbara Kingery (John) and Linda Pauley; his brothers-in-law, Butch Hargis, John Hargis and Doug Hargis (April); and his close friend Charlie Phares. He is also survived by several nieces, nephews.
