He was predeceased by: his parents, W. Raymond Smith and Frances Smith (Watson); his former wives, Martha Lucille Smith and Dorothy Smith (Doberstein); and his brother Byron Smith.
He is survived by: his wife DeAnn Smith of Dillonvale; his son Aaron; his stepchildren, Jim Criswell (Sue) and Georgianna Hartzell (Ken); and his sister Joyce Smith. He is also survived by 4 grandchildren and 5 great-grandchildren.
