He was predeceased by: his parents, Howard E. "Mike" and Hannelore Reese (Kolleck); and his brother Edward E. Reese. He is survived by: his daughter Angel Mikele Reese; his significant other Lee Ann Lewis; his brothers, Perry R. Reese and Rodney H. Reese (Kathy); and his nieces, Gwendolyn and Christina Reese.
