He was predeceased by: his parents, Joseph Beranek and Bertha Beranek (Litva); and his daughter Dawn Michele Beranek. He is survived by: his wife Debora Beranek (Battlochi); his son Carl Beranek Jr. (Sara); his brothers, Joseph Beranek (Barb), Eddy Beranek (Robin) and Jerry Beranek (Sherry); his grandsons, Thomas of Dillonvale and Kyle Beranek of Dillonvale; and his pet Abby.
