He was predeceased by: his parents, Clarence Carpenter and Carolyn Carpenter (King); and his pet Max. He is survived by: his close friend Gary Harper; his children, Zac Carpenter (Rebecca Abbott) of Parkersburg, WV and Kara Cramblett (Bill) of Byesville; his pets, Jade, Jazz and Jax; his siblings, Larry Carpenter (Shannon) of Cumberland, Jerry Carpenter (Jessie) of Cumberland and Brenda Reese (John) of Byesville; his niece Tiffany; his nephew Joel; and his granddaughter Sophia Cramblett. He is also survived by several other nieces & nephews.
