With heavy hearts, we announce the death of William Smith of Deshler, Ohio, who passed away on January 10, 2022 at the age of 99. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Denzil Smith and Hazel Smith (Foglesong); his grandson Keith Smith; his brother Ronald Smith (Mary); and his close friend Lois Spitsnaugle.
He is survived by: his former wife Virginia Hartman; his son William "Sonny" Smith (Wanda); his granddaughters, Katrina Sharigian (Tod) and Patrice Fairweather; and his great grandchildren, Liam and Anna Marie. He is also survived by many nieces and nephews; countless friends, neighbors.
In lieu of flowers, the family suggests memorials to Immanuel Lutheran Church.
