Richard Pickens Obituary
With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Richard Pickens (Deshler, Ohio), who passed away on March 25, 2024 at the age of 85. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, John Otis and Mildred Pickens (Osborne); and his siblings, Marilyn Cusac, Robert "Bob" and John "Jack" Pickens.
He is survived by: his daughter Denise; his wife Kay Pickens (Thatcher); and his children, Jeniene Hohl (Mike), Bradley Pickens (Jennis), Angela Moses (Tim), Steven Pickens (Michelle), Christine Best (Scott) and Kathleen Pickens. He is also survived by 14 grandchildren, 6 great grandchildren, many nieces and nephews, and a multitude of friends.
In lieu of flowers or donations, Richard expressly wanted everyone to take their families out to dinner, or to otherwise spend time appreciating each other's company.
