He was predeceased by: his parents, Richard B. Allen and Rosella M. Allen (Buckenmeyer); and his brother Lt. Dale Allen. He is survived by: his wife Jean Fortman of Glandorf; his grandchildren, Karen Schwiebert (Jon), Corbin, Carissa, Caylee, Kristine Maas (Dean), Clay (Emily), Drew, Kathy Mangas (Jeff), Benjamin, Jenna, Jessica, Brian Allen (Liz), Addie and Thomas; and his brothers, Terry Allen (Nancy) and Neal Allen (Darlene).
