He was predeceased by: his parents, Fred Mahlmann and Edna Mahlmann (Seemann); and his siblings, Betty Seedorf-Schwiebert, Kenneth and Marvin Mahlmann.
He is survived by: his wife Rita Mahlmann (Gerken); his children, Lester Mahlmann (Laurie), Rhonda Lotz (Joel), Louise Bishop (Rich), Ronald "Arn" Mahlmann and Ladina Suber (Jim); his grandchildren, Gregory Lotz, Michael Lotz, Casey Lotz, Caleb Mahlmann (Nina), Courtney Tonjes (Dylan), Heather Bishop, Robert Suber, II (Morgan) and Alex Suber; his great grandchildren, Kearstin, Jordan, Logan, Maia and Josephine; his great great grandchild Elijah; his siblings, Delores Rickerd, Mary Lou Curtis and Donald Mahlmann; and his sister-in-law Edna Mahlmann.
Visitation was held on Monday, April 14th 2025 from 2:00 PM to 7:00 PM and on Tuesday, April 15th 2025 from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM. A funeral service was held on Tuesday, April 15th 2025 at 11:00 AM at the Immanuel Lutheran Church (220 W Elm St, Deshler, OH 43516).
The family suggests memorials to Immanuel Lutheran Church or Briar Hill Activity Department.
