It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Howard Powell Sr. of Deshler, Ohio, who passed away on September 29, 2020, at the age of 97, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his parents, Edward "E. C." and Pearl Powell (Donald); his sons, David and Robert Powell; and his siblings, William Powell, Louise and Dorothy Powell.
He is survived by: his wife Mary Powell (Declerq); his children, Judy Maas (Ronald) and Howard Powell, Jr. (Sandy); his grandchildren, Dean Maas (Kristine), Jackie Bower (Jon), Steve Maas, Dale Powell, Sheila Elliott (Brooks) and Jill Powell; his great grandchildren, Clay Maas (Emily), Drew Maas, Austin Bower (Elizabeth), Rylee Bower, Remi Bower, Josh Powell (Lacey), Derek Powell (Laurie), Jordan Powell, Emily Elliott and Evan Elliott; and his great great grandchildren, Novak, Marlee, Brezlee, Grady, Olivia and Calvin.
Those attending services will be required to wear masks and practice social distancing guidelines.
