With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Doris S. Botjer of Deshler, Ohio, born in Van Buren, Ohio, who passed away on June 27, 2022 at the age of 92. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her father Howard Spence; her spouse Gerhardt "Curley" Botjer; her son James "Fritz" Botjer; her grandchildren, Jackie and Jeremy; her siblings, Anna Stensen, Alice Stanton, Grace Lulfs, Sarah Fleming, Howard "Buck" Spence, Jr., George Spence, Thomas Spence and Orlo Spence; and her sons-in-law, Michael Ellerbrock and James Diemer.
She is survived by: her children, Arthur "Bill" Botjer (Belinda), Judy Diemer, Bonny Ellerbrock, Brenda Shope (George) and Jeffrey "Jeff" Botjer (Joy); and her sister-in-law Josephine Spence. She is also survived by 24 grandchildren; 36 great grandchildren and 12 great great grandchildren.
The family suggests memorials to Bridge Home Health & Hospice.
