He was predeceased by: his wife Rita Blaylock; and his siblings, Gibb, Joe, Amador and Tilia.

He is survived by: his sons, Abel Perez Jr. of Cincinnati, Robert Perez of Whitehouse and Thomas Perez (Lorena) of Bowling Green; and his brother Adon Perez of Texas. He is also survived by 11 grandchildren and 11 great-grandchildren.

Memorial contributions may be given to the Wood County Humane Society.
