He was predeceased by: his parents, Rita Teresa Ortenzo Metzger and Harry William Metzger; his grandparents, Antonio, Amalia Ortenzo, William Addison (Babe) and Mona Leona Metzger; and his niece Jessica Leigh Metzger.
He is survived by: his brothers, Reverend William A. Metzger and Bruce A. Metzger; his sister-in-law Debra Metzger; his niece Stephanie A. Metzger; his nephew Christopher Jon Metzger (Erika); his great-niece Elanor; and his great-nephew Ethan.
