He was predeceased by: his parents, Robert John and Mary Helen "Tink" Dorsey (Kail); his son Ty Allan Dorsey; his brother Robert Gerald Dorsey; and his parents-in-law, C. H. and Norma L. Hooker, Sr..
He is survived by: his wife Norma Jane; his daughters, Tammy Houston (Kenneth) of Dennison and Tanya Dorsey (Heather Howdyshell) of Lakewood; his granddaughter Jenna Houston of Dennison; and his daughter Regina Kail (Chris) of Dover.
