With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Mary Catherine Dempster of Dennison, Ohio, born in Crozet, Virginia, who passed away on April 7, 2022 at the age of 87. Leave a sympathy message to the family on the memorial page of Mary Catherine Dempster to pay them a last tribute.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Sidney Wade Wood and Lola Catherine Wood-West (Smith); her daughter Hallie Page Dempster-Garbrandt; and her grandmother Mary C. Smith. She is survived by: her daughter Teresa Moore (David); her granddaughters, Darcie Moore (Sean Rinehart) and Kendra Moore; and her great grandchildren, Sage and Soren Moore Rinehart.
In lieu of flowers, donations may be made in Mary's name to the Tuscarawas County YMCA for the Back-a-Youth Scholarship Program, which provides membership and programs to children and single parent families in our area, a program about which Mary was particularly passionate.
