She was predeceased by: her parents, Alice Christina Byrd (Smith) and John Archer Byrd; her husband Robert Ross; her brother Jared Stewart; and her niece Cheryl McBride.

She is survived by: her sisters, Carol Zellhart and Bonnie Adams; her sister-in-law Mary Stewart; her nieces and nephews, Deborah Kauffman, Vickie Partridge, Lisa McDonald, Mark McConnell, David Zellhart and Scott Zellhart; and her great-niece Jennifer Stevens.
