She was predeceased by: her parents, John Henry VanFossen and Ferne Wanda VanFossen Robinson (Edie); her son Timothy Gribben; her grandchildren, Samantha, Sandra, Michael and Tyler Gribben; and her brothers, Gary and Melvin VanFossen.
She is survived by: her husband Michael W. Gribben; her children, Michael P. Gribben and Tammy McMillen (Tim); her grandchildren, Jessica Lockwood (Darrell), Jennifer Santos (Benjamin), David McMillen, Melissa Beckley (Anthony) and Cody McMillen (Jessie); her great grandchildren, A. J., Breyson, Colton, Dayan, Aly, Cameron, Savannah and Serena; her brothers, John VanFossen (Debbie) and Jack Robinson (Holly); her stepfather Clarence Jack Robinson; her sister-in-law Tena West (Jim); and her pet Sweetie. She is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
On August 20, 1960, Janice married Michael W. Gribben, her "Gribby", who lovingly cared for her throughout her long journey since being diagnosed with Alzheimer's Disease in 2013.
