She was predeceased by: her parents, Charles Richard and Alberta Josephine Bonifay (Sterling); and her brother-in-law Richard "Spank" Shaw. She is survived by: her husband William Michael "Mike" Abel; her children, Jody Golec (Richard), Jeffrey Abel and Bill Abel (Kari); her grandchildren, Corey, Taylor Golec, Hadley, Piper and Hudson Abel; her mother-in-law Anna Marie Abel; her siblings, Sue Vermillion (Tom), Linda Shaw, Richard Bonifay (Debbie), Cindy Shinaberry (Greg) and Brian Bonifay (Stacey); and her sister-in-law Diane Edgar (Brian). She is also survived by many cousins, nieces, and nephews.
