He was predeceased by: his parents, Dewey Thomas and Lorene Thomas (Salyers); his stepfather John Helfer; his siblings, Joan Nelson and Kelce Thomas; and his grandsons, Andrew Brown III (Cecil) and Benjamin Morris.
He is survived by: his wife Rose Striker; his children, Melissa Morris (Herb), Joi Brown (Andy), Dewey Thomas (Keeley) and Susan Barber (James); his grandchildren, Niccole, Devin, Michael, Breanna Morris, Tanner, Cameron Brown, Gavin, Bryer, Brynley Thomas, Cierra, Destinee, Madison and Natalia Barber; his sister Winnie Barlock; and his friend Bobby Harshey.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to Crossroads Hospice.
