He was predeceased by: his parents, Carl Gilson and Christine Gilson (Edgar); his sister Lorene; his brother-in-law Gene Roose; and his granddaughters, Mercedes and Seville Gilson.
He is survived by: his wife Louise I. Lind; his siblings, Virginia McNaughton (Bob) of Fort Collins, CO and Fletcher Gilson (Lisa) of Reno, NV; his children, R. Lance Gilson (Diane) of Swanton and Robin L. Gilson (Joann) of Delta; and his grandchildren, Calla Gilson (Keith) of Holland, Carra Gilson (José) of Denver, CO and CalLind Gilson (Kelly) of Bowling Green.
Memorials may be made to Hospice of Northwest Ohio, or Trinity Lutheran Church of Wauseon.
