He was predeceased by: his parents, Sydney Shipman and Bertha Shipman (Apple); his wife Phyllis Jean Buehrer; his grandchildren, Chad and Chancelor Shipman; and his son-in-law Don Johnson.
He is survived by: his children, Perry Shipman (Brenda), Laura O'Neill and Bonnie Johnson; and his sister Freda Morgan. He is also survived by 12 grandchildren and 20 great grandchildren.
