He was predeceased by: his parents, Merle G. Stemen and Edna Stemen (Brenneman); and his siblings, Dale, John, Marian Crisenbery and Anna Good.
He is survived by: his children, Debra Crites (Michael) of Elida, Carol Stemen of Elida, Jerry Stemen (Melissa) of Elida, Robert Stemen (Karen) of Summerfield, NC and Gene Stemen (Jennifer) of Delphos; and his grandchildren, Nick, Anthony, Gary Crites, Ryan, Shaun Stemen, Amanda Townsend (Trent), Danielle, Chantal, Natalie Stemen, Brooke, Sydney, Taylor, Luke and Logan Stemen. He is also survived by 15 great-grandchildren.
