He was predeceased by: his parents, Harold "George" Kohorst and Laurietta Kohorst (Diltz); his son T. J.; his sister Cora Saum (Rodger); and his parents-in-law, N. W. "Bill" and Barbara Lucas.

He is survived by: his wife Barbara "Bobbie" Lucas; his daughter Kim Bickford (Greg) of Mt. Blanchard, OH; his granddaughter Sydney Bickford; and his siblings, Bonnie Fuerst (Jim) of Columbus Grove and Gerald Kohorst (Inice) of Mendon, OH..

Memorial donations can be made to Putnam County Hospice.
