He was predeceased by: his parents, Samuel Davis and Martha Davis (Prine); his wife Sheila Shew; and his siblings, Marcia Sisco, William Miller, Jr., Larry Miller, Judy Sexton, Shelva Browning and Vera Yocklin.
He is survived by: his children, Samuel "JD" Davis (Miranda) of Defiance, Jamey Davis of Oakwood, OH, Shane Davis of Ft. Wayne, IN. and Holly Maddox (Mitchell) of Ft. Wayne, IN.; and his siblings, Bob Davis of Gatlinburg, TN, Peggy McClaine (Mike) of Bryan, OH and Helen Thomas of Van Wert, OH.. He is also survived by his family and many good friends.
Memorials are suggested to the Defiance County VA Office to assist any veteran in need.
