She was predeceased by: her parents, Cyril Horstman and Evelyn Horstman (Seymour); her former husband Tom Koester; her spouse Thomas O. Schimmoeller; her daughters, Tammy Bergfeld (Dave) and Shelly Kayser (Mike); her brother John Horstman (Sue); her sister-in-law Sharon Horstman; her grandchildren, Jamie Grothaus (Randy), Julie Renner (Greg), Eric Bergfeld, Wes Kayser (Rachel) and Molly Armstrong (Colin); and her brother Joe Horstman.
Visitation was held on Friday, January 31st 2025 from 4:00 PM to 8:00 PM at the Weber Funeral Home (1840 E 5th St, Delphos, OH 45833). A wake was held on Friday, January 31st 2025 at 7:45 PM at the same location. A funeral Mass was held on Saturday, February 1st 2025 at 10:00 AM at the Delphos St. John the Evangelist Catholic Church (331 E 2nd St, Delphos, OH 45833).
