He was loved and cherished by many people including: his parents, Arthur B. Thomas and Leora Thomas (Ross); his wife Joan Lloyd; his children, Donald Thomas (Alesia) of Tucson, AZ, Marty Thomas (Deb) of Elida and Pat Sharrits (Russell) of Columbus Grove; his grandchildren, Michelle Thomas of Elida, Russell Thomas (Stephanie) of Tucson, AZ, Beth Spain (Joe) of Akron, Chris Thomas (Sarah) of Plain City and Jeff Thomas (Melissa) of Elida; his stepgrandchildren, Scott Sharrits of Lima and Amie Sharrits of Raleigh, NC; and his brother Arbert Thomas. He was also cherished by 12 great-grandchildren and one step-great-grandchild.
Memorial contributions can be made to Gomer Congregational Church Choir or to Bridge Hospice.
