He was predeceased by: his parents, Frank Schulte and Freda Schulte (Edelbrock); his wife Grace O. Schroeder; his grandson Eric Grothouse; and his siblings, LaVerne Schulte (Carlene) and Joanne Hermiller (Tom).
He is survived by: his children, Robert J. Schulte (Kathy) of Lima, Karen K. Grothouse (Dan) of Delphos, Patricia S. Gerberick (Mark) of Delphos and Lynn Odenweller (Phil) of Delphos; his siblings, Jim Schulte (Darlene) of Delphos, Dave Schulte (Carol) of Van Wert, Paul Schulte (Linda) of Kalida, Mike Schulte of Ottawa and Jerry Schulte (Helen) of Kalida; his grandchildren, Jennifer Lammlein (Chris), Stacey Vaske (Andy), Michael Schulte (Staci), Bradley Gerberick, Eric Gerberick (Allison), Allison Gerberick and Jessica Odenweller; his great grandchildren, Ashlyn, Alex, Abigail Lammlein, Nashton, Evelyn, Jaxon Vaske, Annalise and Andrew Schulte; and his close friend Joanne Kirkendall of Van Wert.
Memorial contributions may be made to the St.John's Parish Foundation and to the Robert and Grace Schulte Family Scholarship Fund at the Ohio State University.
