It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Omer M. Pothast (Delphos, Ohio), who passed away on August 22, 2018, at the age of 99, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his siblings, Walter "Nick", Cornelius "Nick", Clifford, Elmer Pothast and Gertrude Ernst.

He is survived by: his spouse Rita M. Elwer; and his children, Carol Utrup (James) of Wilmington, Virginia DiSalle of Delphos, Louis Pothast (Becky) of Ft and Pothast Field Drainage. He is also survived by grandchildren, thirty eight great grandchildren and numerous nieces and nephews.
