He was predeceased by: his father Joseph Schwatz; and his stepmother Beverly Jane Schwartz. He is survived by: his wife Peg; his children, Michael Schwartz Jr. (LaTisha Liming) of St. Mary's, Anita Shafer (Brandon) of Celina and Brittany Schwartz (Javier Gonzalez) of Sidney; his stepchildren, Melissa Anne Volbert (Shawn) of Spencerville and James Blauvelt of Wapak; his siblings, Marvin Schwartz of St. Mary's and Patricia Hensley of Mendon; and his stepbrother Ed Wilson of Fremont. He is also survived by ten grandchildren.
