She was predeceased by: her parents, Arthur Jung and Lena Jung (Grunewald); her husband Eugene "Gene" Burnett; and her siblings, Bruno, Martha, Greta, Elizabeth and Helmut.
She is survived by: her daughter Ellen McGarvey (Jeffery); her great grandchild Adrianna Sherrick (Herb "Trip" Peoples III); her children, Damien Jones, Braxton Sherrick and Dusty Hammons (Christine); her grandchild Braden; and her stepgrandchildren, Jason McGarvey, Julie Stewart and Melissa Wallace. She is also survived by many nieces & nephews.
The family requests that memorials be made in her name to any of the following: St Jude Children's Hospital, The Til Valhalla Project or Wreaths Across America.
