She was predeceased by: her parents, Eugene Schmersal and Dorothy Schmersal (Wright); and her siblings, William Schmersal, Thomas "Tucker" Schmersal and Joyce Noonan.
She is survived by: her children, Daniel Hittle (Karen) of Spencerville, Linda Johnson (P. J.) of Spencerville, David Hittle of St. Marys and Andrew Hittle (Mary) of Glasgow, KY; and the father of her children Gary L. Hittle of Celina. She is also survived by 10 grandchildren, 16 great-grandchildren.
