She is survived by: her son Ian Douglas Thatcher (Rachel) of Lancaster; her brother Scott Allen Hefner (Rene) of Lima; her nephews, Chad Hefner, Ryan Hefner, Cody Hefner, Cory Hefner, Cole, Carleigh, Jessie (Evelyn), Elyse, Avery, Brady (Celeste) and Augie; and also, Raelyn, Ryliegh and Lane.

Memorial contributions may be given to the Lima Community Church of the Nazarene's Teen Ministries.
