He was predeceased by: his parents, Herbert Plescher and Jane Plescher (Bowersock); his siblings, Joan Hartnet and Terry Plescher; and his uncle Dr. Celestine Frank.
He is survived by: his spouse Leslie Caldwell; his children, Lee Plescher (Brandy) of Delphos and Maureen Frisby of Delphos; his stepchildren, Samuel Caldwell, Mark Caldwell (Amy), Lena Carter (Scott) and Amanda Caldwell; his siblings, Michael Plescher of Ottoville and Sharon Knippen of Ottoville; and his grandchildren, Mayleen Dye (Jarrett), Alexa, Kane, Payton and Maverick Plescher. He is also survived by five step-grandchildren; and numerous nieces and nephews.
