He was predeceased by: his parents, John Wilbert and Mary Imogene Joseph (Lindeman); and his siblings, Larry, Dick, Rodger Joseph, Ruth Slate and Bonnie Fockler.
He is survived by: his sons, Chad Joseph (Angie) of Ft. Jennings and Jamie Joseph (Jody Cooley) of Delphos; his grandchildren, Evan Joseph and Aubrey Joseph; and his siblings, Mona Kay Aldrich (Bob) of Delphos, Barb Shorts (Larry) of Defiance, Janis Vanvlerah of Oakwood and Ron Joseph of Delphos. He is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
