He was predeceased by: his sisters, Ruth (Clark), Lois Weger and Marilyn (Popovich). He is survived by: his children, John (Marcia) of Baton Rouge, Joseph (Karen) of Rocky River and James; his grandchildren, Rebecca Keller (Kegan), Kathryn Ward (Kaleb), Julianne, Joseph, Elizabeth, Kevin and Kyle Weger; and his great grandchild Carter Keller.

In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to St. John's Parish Foundation or the Delphos Public Library.
