We are sad to announce that on April 21, 2025, at the age of 87, Gerald Baumgarte of Delphos, Ohio passed away. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

He was predeceased by: his parents, Sylvester Baumgarte and Coletta Baumgarte (Wannemacher); and his brothers, Donald and Kenneth. He is survived by: his sisters, Nancy Spieles (Ron) of Vandalia, OH and Sharon DeWitt (Vincent) of Auburn, CA..
Visitation will be held on Sunday, April 27th 2025 from 4:00 PM to 6:00 PM at the Harter and Schier Funeral Home (209 W 3rd St, Delphos, OH 45833). A rosary will be held on Sunday, April 27th 2025 at 5:15 PM at the Harter & Schier Funeral Home (209 W 3rd St, Delphos, OH 45833). A funeral Mass will be held on Monday, April 28th 2025 at 10:00 AM at the Delphos St. John the Evangelist Catholic Church.
Memorial contributions may be made to St. Vincent DePaul.
