He was predeceased by: his parents, Richard Shumaker and Marcella Shumaker (Becker); his son Larry; his son-in-law Kevin Radic; his brother Jim Shumaker (Eloise); and his brother-in-law Dan Stemen.
He is survived by: his wife Dorothy Shumaker (Wegesin); his daughters, Sandra Young (Ryan) of Lima, Linda Brisbay (Steve) of Houston, TX, Patricia Edwards (Mike) of Grover Hill and Nancy Radic of Denver, CO; his sisters, Ann Stemen of Ft. Jennings and Norma Geise (Lee) of Delphos; and his grandchildren, Westin, Shelby Young, Justin, Sara Edwards, Katelyn, Abby, Andrew and Jacob Radic.
