She was loved and cherished by many people including: her parents, August Friemoth and Margaret Friemoth (Pohlman); her husband John "Gary" Staup; and her children, Michael Staup (Robin) of Buchanan, MI, Timothy Staup (Lisa) of Delphos and Valerie Gerdemann of Columbus. She was also cherished by four grandchildren.

Memorial contributions may be made to The National Rifle Association or St. John's Parish Foundation.
