He was predeceased by: his parents, Harry Martz and Evelyn Martz (Pugh); his wife Wilma Jean Betts; his grandson Edward Joseph Martin; his siblings, Robert Martz (Barb), Donald Martz (Marcene), Wanda Waters (Mel) and Dorothy Kendle (John); and his brother-in-law Jim Coil.
He is survived by: his son Gary Martz of Middle Point, OH; his grandchildren, Eric Martin, Jolene Talboom (Shane), Bethann Osenga (Brent), Faith Martin and Hope Martin; and his sister Betty Coil of Columbus Grove. He is also survived by eight great-grandchildren.
