She was predeceased by: her parents, Donald Buettner and Lorene Buettner (Stirn); her former husband Wayne Metzger; her husband Gene Miller; her brothers, Donald Buettner (Anne), Tom Buettner, George Buettner (Dolores), Gene Buettner and Richard Buettner; her stepson Timothy Miller; her son-in-law Larry Betz; her brother-in-law Robert Halliwill; her parents-in-law, Vernon Metzger and Hazel McDonald; and her siblings-in-law, Rosemary Feison and Victor Feison.
She is survived by: her children, Daniel Metzger of Delphos, Donald Metzger (Libby) of Fort Jennings, David Metzger (Janet) of Fort Jennings, Dennis Metzger (Barb) of Fort Jennings, Douglas Metzger (Brenda) of Delphos, Dale Metzger of Delphos, Kathi Gasser (Stan) of Fort Jennings, Laura Betz of Delphos and Sue Lundy (Lonnie) of Delphos; her sisters, Lois Halliwill of California and Edna Feathers (John) of Wyoming; and her sisters-in-law, Irma Buettner, Amy Buettner and Carol Buettner. She is also survived by 32 grandchildren, 56 great-grandchildren, and one great-great grandchild.
Visitation was held on Tuesday, January 28th 2025 from 2:00 PM to 8:00 PM at the Weber Funeral Home (1840 E 5th St, Delphos, OH 45833). A wake was held on Tuesday, January 28th 2025 at 7:45 PM at the same location. A funeral Mass will be held on Wednesday, January 29th 2025 at 10:00 AM at the St John the Evangelist Catholic Church (331 E 2nd St, Delphos, OH 45833).
Memorial contributions may be made to the St. John's School Teacher Endowment Fund.
