He was predeceased by: his parents, William Wauben and Lucy Wauben (Konst); his son Charles Jr.; and his siblings, Paul, William Jr., Walter Wauben and Jeannette Brown (Rodney).
He is survived by: his wife Mary Buettner; his daughters, Jane Ritter (Vern) of Atlanta, GA, Katherine Trunk (Michael) of Lebanon, OH, Peggy Moodispaw (Paul) of Wooster, OH and Beth Gerow (Drew) of Delphos; and his brother James Wauben (Sherry) of Ralston, VA. He is also survived by eleven grandchildren.
