She was predeceased by: her son Michael Gallmeier; her siblings, Gracie Bergfeld, Evelyn Mullen, Mary Redding, Pat Bergfeld and Eugene Bergfeld; and her grandchildren, Bryan Gallmeier, Ryan Gallmeier and Lisa Gallmeier.

She is survived by: her children, Joe Gallmeier (Tina), Kathy Tirey (Marc), Joyce Long (Ed), Mary Reese (Ron) and Kelly Smith (Jeff); her daughter-in-law Deb Gallmeier; her grandchildren, Shane (Brenda), Travis (Kristy), Kyle Gallmeier, Adam Tirey, Brian Tirey (Sarah), Katie Shape (Colt), Karissa Cupito (Brad), Jen Wildroudt (Joey), Ryan Long (Katie), Daniel Long, Sam, Jack, Josh Reese, Nick Gallmeier, Brooke Gallmeier, Tyler, Lydia and Paige Smith; and her brother Claude Bergfeld (Mary).
