He was predeceased by: his parents, Carl C. Gasser and Bertha Gasser (Kemper); his siblings, James Gasser and Ruth Sheeter; his brother-in-law Richard German; his parents-in-law, Wendell McKee (Mac) and Isabel Kramer (Ralph); and his nephew Mike Gasser.

He is survived by: his wife Marsha Gasser (McKee); his stepdaughter Christi Wiechart (Chad); his stepgrandchildren, Kaylei and Jessica; his siblings, Genevieve German, Thomas Gasser (Martha) and Stanley Gasser (Kathi); and his siblings-in-law, John Sheeter, Therese Gasser and Tina McKee (Paul Krouse). He is also survived by many nephews and nieces.
