She was predeceased by: her father Clayton Slater; her husband Randal T. Birch; and her sister Janet Slater. She is survived by: her mother Wanda Slater (Clark); her daughters, Tabitha "Tabby" Birch (Brent) of Minerva and DeEtte Vrsan (Jeff) of Dellroy; her grandchildren, Emma and Jimmy Vrsan; her stepgrandson Brayden Barrick; and her siblings, Richard Slater of Caldwell, OH, Virgil Slater of Dexter City and Mary (Kenny). She is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
Visitation will be held on Thursday, January 23rd 2025 from 12:00 PM to 1:00 PM at the Baxter-Gardner Funeral Home (7345 Roswell Rd SW, Sherrodsville, OH 44675). A funeral service will be held on Thursday, January 23rd 2025 at 1:00 PM at the same location.
In lieu of flowers or gifts, contributions in Virginia's memory may be made to the family to help offset funeral expenses.
