She was predeceased by: her parents, William Brown and Lena Brown (Schillinger); her husband James Newell; her son-in-law James "Moose" Howell Jr.; and her siblings, William "Bill" Brown Jr., Cora Brown-Graham, Dorothy Brown-Parker and Imogene Brown-McKensey.
She is survived by: her children, Mitchell "Mitch" Newell (Cheryl) of Radnor and Tracey Howell of Delaware; and her grandsons, Sean Newell, Cody and Clay Howell. She is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews.
