He was predeceased by: his siblings, Marcy, Jane and Richard. He is survived by: his parents, William McKinley and Mabel Stine Brannon; his children, Byron Brannon (Karen), Barbara Brannon and Suzanne Rapp (Richard); his granddaughters, Jaime Simmons (Jon) and Brannon Rapp; his brother Thomas Brannon (Georgene); and his brother-in-law Roderick Hughes. He is also survived by many nieces, nephews and cousins.
