He was predeceased by: his parents, Corbit Mitchell and Thelma Mitchell (Hopper); and his siblings, Corbit, Jr., Mabel Maze, Margie Anders and Robert Mitchell.
He is survived by: his wife Maxine Mitchell (Schmock); his children, Michael Brooks and Sarah McCloskey (Jason); his grandchildren, Nathaniel, Mia, Noah McCloskey and Rebekah Brooks; and his siblings, Linda Nicholson and Wesley Mitchell.
A graveside service was held on Thursday, December 5th 2024 at 9:00 AM at the Dayton National Cemetery (4100 W Third St, Dayton, OH 45428).
