She was predeceased by: her parents, Robert Hancock and Helen Hancock (Jean); and her sister Kathleen Sheridan (Hancock). She is survived by: her husband Andrew Joseph Carey; her children, Michael Carey (Margaret), Thomas Carey (Rita), Anne-Marie Neal (James), Benjamin Carey (Kelley), Rachel McElwaney (Sean) and Patrick Carey; her grandchildren, Katherine, Meagan Carey, Ian, Sophia, Kiera, Thomas Carey, Taylor, Collin Neal, Gwyneth, Anneliese Carey and Mikayla; and her siblings, Robert Hancock (Teresa) and Janet Hall (Blair).
In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to St. Jude's Children Hospital to help battle childhood cancer.
