She was predeceased by: her parents, Paul Aspery and Betty Marie Aspery (Rose); and her grandson Christopher M. Thress. She is survived by: her husband Curtis Howard; her children, Larry Johnston (Andrea Carter), Brenda S. Johnston and Jody Levings (Eugene); her stepchildren, Ethel Marie Covttz (Donavan), Amanda Sue Howard and Jason E. Howard (Jennifer); her grandchildren, Samantha Jo, Larry A., Alex, Jacob Johnston, Dylan Thress, Austin Thress and Madeline Smith; and her great grandchildren, Damion, Emry, Roman and Marcell.
In lieu of flowers memorial contributions in Joyce's name may be directed towards the Pulmonary Fibrosis Foundation, 230 East Ohio Street, Suite 500, Chicago, Ill 60611 or to the funeral home to assist with arrangements.
